Nanchaku

It's 11.30 in the night. I glance at my Nanchaku(Nanchaku is a traditional weapon of the Kobudo weapons set and consists of two sticks connected at their ends with a short chain or rope.). My thoughts run back in time.

I learnt Nanchaku when I was in BE second year. This was part of martial arts class under a senior called Nanda Kumar. Around three of the students would report to him every sunday early morning. He taught most practical martial arts. One that is relevant to street fight. We enjoyed it.

I bought this Nanchaku at that time. Still it is with me. I practice whenever I get time. Some of my friends when they visit me are surprised that I can use it so fluently. But my martial arts has been more towards disciplining myself. Never would I use it show off or form of violence.

For a change

I usually try to change mobile every three years. Recent one being Sony Erickson p1i...its a cool phone.

I change watch probably in same frequency.

I bought a maruti swift in 2005.
Now i bought a Innova. It's a cool one...i plan to get some accessories like reading lamp, parking sensor bumpers...it will be all the more exciting to travel long distances now. Toyota vehicle is a pleasure even to look at....owning one will definitely be much more than that. plan to use it till 2014....long way to go:)

Introspection

Last couple of months have been hectic....
I am happy with trimester one....but trimester 2 looks like a struggle...but that too will pass.

At home they are looking for a match for me.
It looks like some decision will be taken coming Sunday.

Work,MBA and family:)...it's going to be fun to chase three rabbits at the same time..

A friend of mine had written that MBA does not teach you anything that you cannot study and learn by yourself..

But I disagree...it depends on who is teaching you...i have been enjoying my studies ...obviously due to environment in IIMB.
