This is not one of those days...this is Obama day

Obama sent thrilling waves across the world, when elected. It was for those who deeply loved Civil Rights movement. He radiated hope.

Now with signing of Health Care bill, he has silenced all cynicism created around it. It's big blow to those who are on the payrolls of Insurance companies...both in politics and media.

For a century good hearted presidents of US tried to pass this bill. But no one succeeded like Obama. I am reminded of the words of Dr.Daisaku Ikeda, "Good have be strong to protect the ordinary, peace loving people".

So it's a good day...Obama day.

Coming back to Investment Analysts from some investment banks. Some of these companies took public money to survive last year(federal funds and so on). Now they are writing the fate of other companies, in their wonderfully arrogant reports with numbers and charts. Way to go, these guys are good at what we call "beg, borrow, steal":). They excellently execute these in different times, in all parts of the world.

This is not one of those days?

What's up?

For quite some time I had forgotten that I have a blog space..

Both rats and races around kept me busy...:)...race within was stalled...

Quarter 3 is also done in college...so for it's not as bad as the second one...

Q3 was great as I teamed up with lots of people over coffee and skype...to debate subjects...be it Law, Managerial accounting , Marketing or OR...i enjoyed them thoroughly...more so outside the class:)

Whatever you might write in your SOP for MBA...ultimately you should rewrite it continuously...many times in your head...

Some how MBA is linked to money and fame....when these two enter ...greed, anger, stupidity take over...

Bleeding in stock markets last year...was effects of causes mentioned in the line above...
The idea of daily trading is like nicotine...how can some body write fates of companies each day?

Anyways there are so many questions...but as one of our Professors told recently"Not all questions need to be answered."
:)...let me leave it at that...

Met my friend Manju... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbPAZzC9m1I) who is a mountaineer...was thrilled to know his breakthrough in an expedition company..

I thought he had a better SOP than any of us(among the circle)...he spends most of his time in Himalayas trying to climb virgin peaks....where there are no traffic jams, monday mornings in office and he decides his appraisal:)

By the way he has got a new name from BSF(Border Security Force) friends with whom he went for an expedition in 2009...he is called "South Sherpa".
